Yellowstone National Park

After our visit to the Tetons we continued on to Yellowstone National Park. We were early in the season so we avoided all the crowds. It is not a good idea to go to this park during the summer. The unbelievable number tourists makes it not fun.

I was hoping to get a photograph of a wolf but when we did see one he was extremely far away.

As you can see in is photo we saw bison swimming across the Madison River.

Tetons National Park

This is the start of a blog to capture and share our adventures across the United States. Most of our trips are in  the western US and sometimes in Canada.

We were recently in Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming. Here are a couple of images from this national park. Click on an image and it will enlarge.

The mountain range with water in the foreground image was taken at a place called Oxbow Bend. It is one of the most photographed locations in the Tetons. I also happen to have the photo taken with fall colors. (Somewhere).

The barn is supposedly the most photographed barn in the United States. It is the Moulton Barn. Here is a link to more information about this barn.
